This exquisite wine is a product of his collaboration with Galetea Spirits AB, reflecting a commitment to quality and excellence in the non-alcoholic wine sector.
Originating from Limoux, a region in southern France's Occitania known for its winemaking heritage, this Chardonnay is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes. The choice of grapes from this historic region, believed to be the birthplace of the world's first sparkling wine, infuses the beverage with a sense of tradition and innovation.
Richard Juhlin's selection of Chardonnay grapes for this non-alcoholic wine ensures that it retains the fruitiness, elegance, and freshness characteristic of the varietal, even after the removal of alcohol. The base wine, before dealcoholization, is a high-quality dry, crisp, and fruity wine, which forms a solid foundation for the finished product.
The dealcoholization process is carried out through vacuum distillation at approximately 30 degrees Celsius, a method meticulously chosen to preserve the wine's aromas and flavours. This careful process results in a wine that is not only easy to appreciate but also highly compatible with a variety of culinary pairings.
