AustraliaThe aroma is so good and shiraz-like (oaky, dark fruit, tannins) that the initial taste was a bit underwhelming - yet it does have tannin and a bit of body; and not much like the dreaded grape juice - so it really grew on me. At times sweetness did come through a bit on the taste, but overall worth a try and would buy again.
AustraliaI ordered this Shiraz after reading the reviews and was very disappointed. I found this to have a very shallow and thin texture that is nothing like a Shiraz. I think reds do much worse in the de-alcoholisation process than whites. It was not sweet but it tasted very diluted. I am really looking forward to when they can create the depth and mouth feel that alcohol gives to wine. The Funky Monkey offering is far superior.
