Miris Blend Cabernet Sauvignon Non Alcoholic 750ml

Miris Blend Cabernet Sauvignon is a rich, fruit-driven alcohol-free red wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown near Lake Balaton in Hungary. Deep ruby in colour, it opens with aromas of ripe red berries, leather, vanilla and forest, followed by flavours of blackcurrant and dark plum with earthy undertones.

The grapes are grown in mineral-rich volcanic soils with calcareous and sandy sections, providing good drainage and heat retention. The temperate climate around Lake Balaton offers long, even ripening conditions, with cool nights helping retain freshness in the grapes. Vines are pruned using the Double Guyot method to balance yield and quality, while the grapes are hand harvested between September and October to select ripe, healthy fruit.

In the winery, the grapes undergo cold maceration before fermentation to help extract colour and aromatic character. Fermentation takes place traditionally in stainless steel tanks, followed by extended maturation. Around half of the wine is aged in large oak barrels for at least a year, adding complexity and helping develop greater balance.

The wine is aged in tanks for at least nine months before de-alcoholisation. Alcohol is then removed using vacuum distillation at 50 mbar and just 31°C, a gentle process designed to minimise the loss of important aromas.

At less than 0.4% ABV, Cabernet Sauvignon has a fruit-driven, sweet style with medium, silky tannins, plenty of freshness and a balanced berry-led finish. Its combination of dark fruit, subtle oak influence and earthy character gives it the structure to work particularly well with hearty food.
