Insel-Brauerei, or “Island Brewery,” was founded in 2015 by master brewer Markus Berberich on the island of Rügen in northern Germany. After decades in brewing, Markus set out to create something truly unique — beers that capture the purity, craft, and natural beauty of their coastal home. Working with talented brewmasters from Belgium and the USA, he developed a brewing style that blends tradition and innovation, with every detail focused on flavour.
