How is Big Drop Zero Alcohol brewed?

Big Drop brews its award-winning non-alcoholic beers using a natural brewing method that keeps flavour, body and balance - without needing to remove alcohol afterward. Instead of brewing a full-strength beer and stripping the alcohol out, Big Drop uses a special fermentation process where the yeast produces very little alcohol from the start (staying under 0.5% ABV). They achieve this by carefully selecting yeast strains that ferment fewer sugars, using a precise mix of grains, malts and hops to create depth and mouthfeel and brewing at controlled temperatures to maintain flavour complexity.

This method preserves the aromas and textures of full-strength craft beer, giving you that same rich taste, foam and satisfaction. 

Is Big Drop Non-Alc vegan or gluten-free? 

Big Drop's beers are low gluten. They use a combination of barley, rye, wheat and oats to craft their beers. While these grains naturally contain gluten, Big Drop's secret is in their brewing method. By using significantly less grain in their recipes than traditional beers, they naturally keep their beers at 0.5% ABV without needing to remove the alcohol afterward. Simply put, less grain at the start means less alcohol at the finish
However, if you have coeliac disease or a severe gluten sensitivity, it's advisable to consult with your healthcare provider before consuming.
